Geoffrey Hendricks, who is in residence at the Nirox foundation at the moment and I went for a walk through the Cradle of Humankind today .

A long, cloud filled, meandering, consciousness expanding walk.

One of the founding members of the Fluxus movement, professor emiritus of art at Rutgers university and author of the infamous ‘Critical Mass’ Critical Mass: Happenings, Fluxus, Performance, Intermedia, and Rutgers University, 1958-1972, we definitely didn’t run out of things to talk about.
After being introduced to his work yesterday, and seeing some of it in progress in the studio, I had a vague idea of him as an artist, and that will follow in the posts after this one, but today we spent getting to know one another.
